Off the Grid in Bulgaria

On the road to Bulgaria, stopping by an accidentally discovered cave in Slovenia and intentionally selected Ozora festival… Ozora was less then exciting, the hype felt way too cool and mainstream than I would have imagined, and the big disappointment was Infected Mushroom’s set. Gosh, gosh, gosh it was a DJ mashup of beats barely giving space to original songs that I was looking forward to hearing with those enormous sound systems so much. The happy days in Bulgaria were spent mainly in Karlukovo cave, stunning place for climbing, where I found my people and felt like I belong. Unhappy days involved needing to send 4TB of files for colour grading and the internet struggle. This was resolved in an old-fashioned way by shipping a disk by post.
